""Rockett Love's second album is to be put in all hands!""
LYNOTT - 01.10.2019 -
Sweden, Sweden, Sweden again! Can you already hear these tired of Scandinavian melodic hard rock? Well, no matter their critics "Grab The Rocket", his elder brother, led us two years ago to predict that this new combo could one day claim to be part of the Treat, Fate or other TNT race, their regional compatriots, who are now an integral part of the melodic metal landscape of the North European zone.

With their intention to improve, the Swedes went to find Erik Martensson (Eclipse, W.E.T) to produce and mix this "Greetings From Rocketland". In these days and in this musical sphere, he shares the title of star of the moment with Erik Grönwall, the vocalist of H.E.A.T. Rich idea that this choice of the Swedish to perfect the sounds and melodic qualities of the record. Because it is obvious, the progress in these two areas is significant.

However, and surprisingly, about melodies that are easily memorable and catchy, it is necessary to wait the third track. 'Back On My Feet' and 'Bite The Bullet' are rather raw pieces and hardly provided with melodious imagination while the whole rest of the album is much closer to the melodic hard rock.

Most attractive tracks could be 'I Want Out' which immediately catches on, full of clever guitars, 'Get Ready, Go!' whose chorus will move the crowds in concert and the ballad 'Take Me Home' which brings us back to Queensryche. But we could also mention 'King For One Day' which evokes Blood Red Saints and whose groove and melody penetrate the minds, 'Writing On The Wall' to the changing tempo of a drum set and 'Reaching Out' whose riffs are immediates.

It is important not to forget 'Like An Endless Distant Sky', whose attack sees the shadow of Def Leppard emerge, then moves away from it by occasionally pacing more alternative sounds before surfing again on the wave of the band of Sheffield with the solo, the strong mainstream 'Wait', whose choirs realize a strike and 'A Heart Without A Soul' which is closed to Thin Lizzy during some of its guitar's parties.

With titles very short, seeking immediate impact and varied in their melodic colours (the influences are numerous and mentioned above), the Swedes, obviously, wanted to vary the pleasures and thus broaden their audience. This very recommendable album is definitely to put in all hands!
